MANDATORY EXTRAS

Nonrefundable Hull Damage Waiver Insurance
$60 per day (max $600) for Monohull Charters
$70 per day (max $700) for Catamaran Charters

Refundable Security Deposit*:
$2500 for Monohulls

BVI Cruising Permit: $4/person/day
BVI National Parks Trust Permit: From $25/week (dependent on number of people and charter length)
VISAR: $2 per person

Mobile phone rental $20 (Duration of charter)
Horizon Yacht Charters Cancellation Insurance - $200 (optional, but recommended)

Payable to Customs:

Environmental and Tourism levy $10 pp - collected on arrival at port of entry.
Departure tax $50 per person from airport and $20 per person from ferry.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Skipper: $225.00/day plus meals & gratuity
Instructional Skipper: $275.00/day plus meals & gratuity
Cook: $225.00/day plus meals & gratuity

Sleep-aboard: $75 per person/night (minimum of $200/night)

Portable Watermaker: $40/day

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS

Payment Terms:
50% of invoice total to confirm charter plus $200 Horizon Cancellation Insurance
Final payment 90 days prior.

Cancellation Terms:
All payments are nonrefundable unless $200 Cancellation Insurance is purchased, then full refund less $500 fee if cancelled 90 days or more prior to charter start date.
Cancel less than 90 days prior, no refund unless Horizon is can resell the charter period, then refund less $500 fee.

Charters start and end at noon.

*If you have purchased a sleep aboard for the night before your charter starts, boarding is at 5 p.m.*

Located on Tortola at Nanny Cay Marina just west of Road Town.

Taxi fare from the Tortola airport is $12 per person, minimum $36. Approximately 45 minutes.
Taxi fare from the West End Ferry dock is $10 per person, minimum $30. Approximately 15 minutes.
Taxi fare from the Road Town Ferry dock is $8 per person, minimum $30. Approximately 10 minutes.
