Captain Theodoros has over 30 years of experience under his belt, starting his Maritime career in 1991 as a deckhand on cruise ships then gradually working his way up from Apprentice Officer to Captain before joining the luxury yachting industry in 1996 where he has remained ever since. A highly experienced and dedicated maritime professional with a Master Unlimited license and a proven track record of success in both yacht and commercial sectors. With his deep passion for the sea and commitment to excellence, having spent many years honing his skills and expertise, navigating vessels of varying sizes and complexities across the world’s oceans, Cpt Theodoros looks forward to facilitating unforgettable experiences for his guests onboard and is dedicated to creating memories that will last a lifetime. His journey in the maritime industry has been defined by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a steadfast commitment to safety. Above all, he is driven by a genuine love for the ocean and a desire to share its wonders with others!

Chief Engineer / Thanos Kiriazis

Chief Engineer Argyris holds a Class A diploma and all necessary certificates. He began his career at sea in 2011 as an apprentice on cruise and cargo ships, eventually becoming a chief engineer on tanker vessels. In 2022, he transitioned to the luxury yachting industry, where he has remained since. He speaks fluent English and Greek. A highly responsible individual, Argyris takes great pride in ensuring everything is in shipshape condition. His top priority is the safety of everyone onboard and the efficient running of the yacht. During his free time, he is passionate about diving and has impressively obtained scuba diving certifications in Open Water, Deep, Nitrox, Cave, Rescue & Assistant Commercial Diving as well as qualifications in Apnea and Free Diving. His previous yachts include: M/Y Moka, M/Y Tropicana.

Chef / Andrei Bort
Nationality: Moldovan
Languages: English, Greek, Romanian, and basic Russian and Italian.

Andrei brings a wealth of culinary expertise garnered from Michelin-starred kitchens, 5* hotels, and yachts across Italy, Greece, France, and Saudi Arabia to his role as chef aboard M/Y Ability. With a versatile skill set encompassing Greek, Italian, Asian, French, Kosher, Mexican, and Russian cuisines, he effortlessly caters to diverse tastes and dietary needs. From exquisite pastries to health-conscious creations, Andrei’s passion for sourcing local ingredients ensures each dish is a delight tailored to guests’ preferences. With boundless enthusiasm for his craft, he eagerly awaits the opportunity to dazzle you with his culinary creations onboard.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, stand-up comedy, writing songs, roller skating, & dancing!

Chief Stewardess / Galini Pascal
Nationality: Greek

Originally from Ukraine, Galini is a well-educated individual with master’s degrees in Psychology, Accounting, Reporting, and Taxation, as well as Engineering. She joined the luxury yachting industry in 2013, working for a private Russian yacht, where she became acquainted with her new role and fell in love with it. Before this, she worked as a manager in real estate, as a senior accountant, and as a financial manager. Galini has experience on both private and charter yachts, passenger ships, and 5-star hotels in Switzerland, where she worked in housekeeping. Consequently she is well-versed in delivering top-notch service. Highly organized and meticulous, Galini takes great pride in ensuring everything meets the highest standards. She thrives in her position as Chief Stewardess and can’t wait to welcome all guests onboard M/Y Ability!

Her previous yachts include: M/Y Whisper V, M/Y Souraya, M/Y Lady G II, M/Y Alexandra.

2nd Stewardess / Gina Lambropoulou
Nationality: Greek / South African
Languages: English

A well-traveled individual, Gina has experience as a 2nd Stewardess on charter yachts in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, delivering the highest standards of service. Before joining the yachting industry, she gained years of experience in the hospitality industry, working as a waitress in various high-end private clubs in the States. She loves table and flower decorations, making cocktails, and, with excellent attention to detail, is well-versed in her role and ensuring the yacht’s interior is maintained in immaculate condition.

During her free time, she loves waterskiing, kayaking, jet skiing, snorkeling, hiking, DIY projects, and traveling.

Bosun / Kostas Lagoudis
Nationality: Greek /Australian
Languages: Fluent English, Greek

Kostas graduated from Piraeus Naval High School and holds diplomas from the Maritime Academy of Aspropyrgos, including a bosun license, personnel survival techniques, fire prevention and firefighting, and elementary first aid. With over 15 years of experience, Kostas joined the luxury yachting industry in 2007 and has worked on both private and charter yachts. A natural-born leader, Kostas remains calm under pressure and loves motivating and upskilling other deckhands, ensuring smooth navigation and safety for all guests at all times.

When not onboard he enjoys all sports, particularly basketball, football, gymnastics, and water sports. Assisting with water sports is his pleasure!

Deckhand / Nikos Zahariou
Nationality: Greek
Languages: Greek & English

Niko is a creative individual with a background in Interior Design and Music Engineering & Technology, having completed qualifications in both fields. He has been working as a deckhand since 2019, when he discovered his passion, and has remained ever since. Before joining the yachting industry, he worked as a Restaurant Manager and Professional DJ. He holds both a sailing license and a speed boat license and is very experienced in water sports, with the capability to coach. With a great attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a desire to continually learn and acquire new skills, he is an excellent asset to the team.

In his free time, Niko enjoys keeping fit by working out at the gym, running outdoors, and swimming, and he also adores cooking!

Deckhand / Petros Damianidis
Nationality: Greek
Languages: Greek, English & Russian

Petro joined the yachting industry in 2021. Always looking to learn new skills, he is a great team player and an organized, reliable individual who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. When not onboard, he likes to keep fit by going to the gym. Petro also has 15 years of experience as both an amateur and professional football player.
